Newlyn is home to a diverse fleet of fishing vessels that operate in both inshore and offshore waters.

Over 70 species of fish are landed on a regular basis from over one hundred small boats that work from Newlyn and the tiny coves and harbours in the west of Cornwall.

In addition to supplying the home market, it is a major exporter of fish to France and Spain.
