Staff at the Pilchard Works are currently working flat out to see that their boat the Inspiration is fishing a full fleet of traditional withy pots.

CEFAS have made available a document from the 1960s investigating the future of the Pilchard in Cornwall.

The Pilchard Works has been involved with Slowfood for many years and taken produce to shows around Europe - today, it continues to promote this work through Cornish Sardine Management Association.
